Hey football fans set your DVR, history will be made Friday night. NFL net has done an exhaustive search and managed to find at least one angle of every play of the first Super Bowl. The game will re-air in it entirety for the first time Friday night on NFL network.

  2. I don't see how something like that could ever be lost in the first place.

    SPOILER ALERT!!!

    Green Bay Wins... :p

  4. Because it wasn't a big deal back then. Sports games in general were not considered "historical" so the recording were routinely wiped and recorded over to save costs.

I should've included the link, but flyby nailed it. That is exactly what happened.

I love that pic. "A smoke and a Freska." It was a simpler time. I remember SB 4, but just barely. I know how Browns and lions fans feel.

Here you go Bull, it's the real deal, not a knock off. The kids got it for me a couple of years ago. They lost every game when I'd wear it creating the curse of the red Jersey, so I put it here instead. It worked they haven't lost since, and the curse was broken Saturday because I dared and wore it.

Ya I left that town 35 years ago, but can't shake Chiefs loyalty. It's been painful.

Probly already there! I hated that team and the dome they played in. Especially being a Houson Oilers fan, when the Rams "won" the Superbowl against the Titans (formerly Oilers), the fans around here got on my nerves to no end. The dome had such a screwed up feel to it, too many wine sippers and climate control! I am truly glad to see them go and not have to hear the fair weather, bandwagoning, annoying "fans" anymore!

    Rant Over! Lol!
