Not a big John Wayne fan but watching El Dorado on the Outdoors Channel and look here http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Colt_Model_1855 That’s a sweet looking gun. By the size of that sewer pipe I’d say that’s the .64? Gun Jezus covered the shotgun version
You shut your whore mouth. You now love The Duke. And will forever. Or its back to Yugoslavia for you Vladimir
Bit your tongue! Have you not seen the masterpiece of acting he did in McQ?? Greatest gun scene ever!!
I always loved the scene in Big Jake, where his son {actually real son, Patrick} says, Good morning daddy. Great scene.
But he only has one gun. J.W. is using a rifle AND a revolver AND controlling his horse by holding the reins in his teeth! Lets see Awenuld do THAT with a bike! (But that is a cool shotgun) 1887 Winchester, modified
My favorite movie is "The War Wagon." I had lunch with one of the actors here in Nashville once. Sheb Wooley. What a nutcake he was!
Went to USC on a football scholarship but injured himself bodysurfing and never played a down. Then went into the movies. But unlike another USC football player that went into the movies, the Duke never brutally killed 2 people with a knife. But that's a story for another day!
My fav's are El Dorado, True Grit, and The Sons of Katie Elder. Katie Elder because it's the movie in which Duke says my name.
@SWAGA If you've never seen it before, "The Quiet Man" was something different for the Duke. Maureen O'Hara is costar she also is in McClintock with him. They had good on screen chemistry.
