Got a call from the home nurse yesterday letting me know that the wife was being transported due to fluid in the lungs. This morning while the hospital was doing tests, she had what they called a "significant" heart attack.

They did an angioplasty but were unable to place a stint. They are now discussing wether she is a candidate for open heart.

keep her in your thoughts and prayers please.

Just spoke with the doctor. He is very concerned. They will not do the surgery because there are too many issues happening. Her organs are at the beginning stages of shutting down. But she can improve. The next 24 - 48 hours will tell the tale. He did have me call her sisters who are out of state and they are headed this way.

This is rough.
