Yea, I've seen a lot of issue with bad extractors. Seen pictures and they look very poorly manufactured. Kinda like with the Mil Pro's, it may take one or two more generations for them to work out the kinks and then it will be a good reliable gun.check out taurusarmed.net ....... quite a few issues reported with FTE. I think I'm gonna wait a few months to see if they can get the issues cleaned up before I buy mine.
Hey sw I forget if I asked you this before but I was curious what gave you that impression of taurus CS as I've been considering a pt1911 here in the future, but if their CS is shit I'll move on.taurus QC had been hit and miss of late, and thier customer service isnt teh best. however after handling one of these id consider it if i didnt have several polymer frame handguns already. these seem to be much better assembled and higer quality than their 1911/beretta kockoff line.
