Thank You ALL!!!!

2 months ago I bought a Hi Point .45 . I was told by several friend, it is junk!!!!! These friends are cops and general gun nuts.

Last month a cop friend of mine went with me to the range. To make a long story short, he has bought a JHP in .45 for a fun gun to keep in the truck, boat and around the house.


I LOVE MY HI POINT JHP .45!!!!! Thank all of you who have sung it's praises!!!

Those that say HPs are Junk... Have NEVER fired one.
Those that have said they are junk, and have a half ounce of brain cells, after firing one, will want one... If for nothing else than a glovebox/truck/boat gun.

Good for you, showing a couple of KItA LEOs that HP's are a good weapon, and probably more accurate than they are!

Bask in the glory! Enjoy knowing that you have a good weapon at a reasonable price!

There are those that are so anti-HiPoint that ( and this is my firm belief, and I have no proof, but I believe ) they will take a HP and cut the slide and doctor the areas to make their intentional damage look like a brake.
We have all seen cast metal brake. We all know what it looks like. And then we are shown pictures of HP slides broken in half. With brakes that are so strait that they might just as well be hack saw or saws all cuts with roughed up edges. Or the front of the slide at the barrels end cut off. Again reportedly a break but again a brake so strait and clean that it looks like a saw cut with rough edges to make it look broken.

Some people just cant stand the idea of a good gun that cost less than 200.00 and will bash it no matter.

Have fun with your quality purchase, and I hope your officer friend has learned that price and brand do not a good product make.
A good design ( and I speak of the mechanical end, we all know that HPs are but ugly ) and a good price are what make a good product.

Yea, the bashers are ALWAYS people who get their information from a friend's cousin who said it blew up in his hand, or jammed every other shot. Don't knock it til you try it.
They ARE good guns for a GREAT price.

I love my JHP, I spent 9+yrs in the navy and fired a s#&t load of firearms of all types. I have no issues using my Hi-Point for defending myself or my family. Fires flawlessly every time and exactly where I want. If they hate it then chances are they have never fired it.
