The Pistol Sights Suck

Well they suck for 2 reasons IMO

    1. The colors red and yellowish white are hard to see with aging eyes.

    2. In low light this gets worse.

Older fella was next to me at the range. He had 2 HP's. A .40 and a 9. I handed him my 45 and he liked what I did to them.

I got the $16.95 kit big dot and strips. Enough to do my Glock, and my 45 with the strips. You can peel and stick them. Hint: use the glue for the extra hold! DAMHIK

I painted mine with pure white finger nail polish, available at Dollar General for $1.00.

I like the night site feature. At the time it was my only big bore gun. They are very bright.

Whatever, but then it's highly unlikely I'll ever fire mine at night, it's unloaded anyway.

Thanks, I like those. Definitely on my wish list

I am actually looking at those UV lights they have there too. I can always use a good light at work. Especially if they will charge the sights really quick.

Picked up my JHP today did not really like the sights on it I'm thinking about putting the ghost ring on do any of you all use the ghost ring and what do you think about it as a sight.

Tried it once. Thought it was silly. Threw it back in the box.

Plus one to hating peep sights on a pistol at arms length, just didn't work for my eyes.

And I have spent over $100 on aperture sights, I usually love the things.;)

I love the aperture sights but have never used one on a pistol.

I have it on my 45 and after awhile grew to like it. took some time though

Never tried the ghost ring. I like the one on the carbine.
  14. The ghost ring was on my JCP when I bought it(used) and I have been too lazy to change it out. In that time it hasn't grown on me (keep waiting hoping it will). I thought I would really like it because I do like them on my long guns.

I'm going to see how I do with the stock sights first. If they don't work out for me at the range I will try the ghost ring. If that doesn't work I will order the Mohan sight.

Dang I have been spelling it wrong also. I tried out the JHP today and the sights were ok. Pistol was dead on accurate but I don't know if the plastic sights will hold up. Last thing I want is the sights to move around during a zombie apocalypse.

Nice. $40 isn't bad. The front site still sucks. The blade needs to be highlighted.
