Things that make you go Hmmmm...

Just something we were talking about tonight wondered what some of you thought about it.

Ok now Ive seen BO talk about things he himself is sold on, and so have most of you if not all.

Stick with me for some points on a one incident.

The setup:

You are in the political fight of the first quarter of the 21st century, to date, with the whole world watching. You play up a Town Hall meeting you claim is not loaded. They are expecting a home run out there and you really need to deliver.

The Plan:

Using your local BO campaign organizers own kid to plant a lead in question. They couldn't have hid this in Saudi Arabia, that's how much free press was needed to find out. So knowing it would be discovered and knowing it's interpretation by the public you decide it's a good idea.

AARP just the night before clearly stated they have not signed onto any health bill. You decide useing them as a reference as being on board with this bill, is a good idea. Again something you absolutely know for certain will be used against and well it should.

You also decide stammering and shuddering at numerous points in an environment impossible to use a teleprompter (your strength) because you know you can do that under stress, is a good idea.

Now the questions being asked are nothing like any town hall so far in this matter, only a true hard core fan of the man could not see the bias in that crowd. You know people are going to notice and do so anyway deciding its a good idea to further discredit the presentation.

Ok now...

The questions:

Do you agree Obama was doing his best? Dont be cute just speak your mind.

Now that you have the obvious answer why would you do that?

Could this be Obama pulling a Bush but on the Dems? Seriously I am at a loss.

If there are other things that dont make any sense feel free to relate.

Of course he was doing his best to manipulate the public view to suit his agenda. Lets just overlook the horrible ideas he is cramming down America to pay for ...
Lets just for a second PRETEND they are good ideas.

The last thing this guy wants to do (and not to bring it is this direction) is to be labeled the dumb black guy who ****ed everything up. Because he knows and I am sure he has been told " this is a one time only event bub, if you **** this up you will set the racial divide bs back 60 years".

And by all means don't get me wrong ..I look at him as just a dumb inexperienced guy trying to play the fox role and thinks he is doing good at it. I see no color just an idiot with an agenda. That no matter what, he is going to try to force history to look at him as a savior to humanity. He is looking for Martin Luther King or Rosa Parks status and to be talked about in history classes as the black man who saved the world. Because even though he plays that race card nonchalantly at times it will be played as a royal flush when his term is over to the extent text can allow.

IMO if the republican side won, it is at least known you will be ****ed and ****ed good maybe even with a kiss or two in between and that all his friends will be rich beyond their wildest dreams.

I mean no one likes to be lied to though and it is sad that millions of sheeple just could not see it for what it was, just another bs politician out for his own saving grace.

I am think they really believed Chicago politics would work on a nation wide scale. Not saying it isnt dangerous as hell but theres no way you can feed Chicago machine crap down Southerners and Westerners (excluding the left coast) throats. Things have to have more substance than "whats in it for me" which the media still thinks is the problem.
I'm really not sure what you're asking here Rhodes...that he was intentionally playing dumb? I don't think that's the case at all this administration has never got out of campaign mode imo and they are trying to campaign still but the method doesn't work against a populace like it does against an opponent. I have to say I've heard this guy called a great communicator and very articulate...am i missing something? Yeah he can read a prepared speech and emote well while doing it and sound earnest and sincere, but, as far as thinking on his feet he makes Bush look good. At any rate back to the point ..he believes he can sell ice(healthcare) to the Eskimos(american public) sorry he's just not that good. He can't even lay out his own plan with coherence.
Thats the problem HP nothing is making sense. Why do they continue to do every thing possible to drum up resistance and sink what they claim is the keystone of this administration? I just fear that maybe they could be just that incompetent and perhaps want a logical argument against that so I feel better.

Because if they are that incompetent then I wonder if we can survive with everything coming down the road internationally. As much as I hate what the Dems stand for still someone better be able to handle Pakistan's possible fall and the like. Wrong moves there can start world wars.
Why do they continue to do every thing possible to drum up resistance and sink what they claim is the keystone of this administration?
Your question holds the key...who better to blame "failure" on then someone else which is why the resistance to it is needed.
It was a campaign promise with no thought or research into it. After it was researched it was deemed just as possible as putting a man on mars. So, put something together half arsed as it is so it is doomed to bring resistance and failure which can be pointed at the resistance to it. Then say "well I tried" holding no responsibility for failure and move on to the next agenda.
Obama "pulling a Bush" on the Dems. Thats what I always figured he'd try with the gun controle stuff.
I don't think he's playing dumb. I think he's really that inexperienced that he really doesn't have a clue what he's doing or what he's up against.

Think about it. He was a "community organizer" who gets elected to the Senate. He serves one term and gets the nomination for president. I can't think of anyone in history that has risen through the ranks to the top office with so little experience. Someone pulled strings for him and now they're pulling his strings. That would explain his reliance on the teleprompter. Someone else (DNC?) is telling him what to say.

That's my conspiracy theory and I'm sticking to it!

AMEN!!! And they got nerve to say Sarah Palin doesn't have the experience!! She's had MORE then Zero has!! She's ran a state all he did was sit in his little office and dream.
Exactly....the man didn't even show for most of the time he's been in politics! He has NO experience....none. We have a Chicago mobster running the country, sending thugs to silence his opposition and lying through his teeth to the people stupid enough to believe one word he says.

to be totally accurate, he was a lawyer as well, and lots of politicians start out as simple lawyers.....
Is there any such thing as a simple lawyer? I started out wanting a law career but became so disgusted with the reality of what they become that I dropped pre-law and ended up in the military. Funny how things that save your soul look like failure at first. Now what does that say for these simple lawyers?

What is it when someone drops 5,000 lawyers to the bottom of the sea? A good start.

...and lots of people go to law school with the intent of entering into politics and have no desire to actually practice law. I knew he was a lawyer and left a law firm to be a community organizer. I honestly don't know how long he was at that law firm or how much experience he gained from it.

My point is, this guy came out of left field. He was never a mayor, or governor, or even a CEO. He doesn't have any executive experience that would qualify him for the Executive Branch of our government. He barely attended or voted during his short time in the Senate.

So what did he have going for him? He was young, charismatic, and an excellent orator (as long as the teleprompter was working). Basically, everything the Republican Party was not. So the DNC ditches Hillary, who they knew was a poison pill from her last stint as an unelected co-president, and prop this guy up as the new messiah. As an added perk, they knew they'd get 99% of the African American vote. Couple all of this with the country's frustration with Bush politics and you have a surefire victory (but it was closer than they expected). So my opinion of him is that he's simply a puppet of the Democrat Party.

Could it be arrogance? These people think they are smarter than everybody else? If you don't have a Harvard law degree you must not be smart? Goebbels only had to control one means of the news, the internet may be the new "wunderkinds" undoing
Having watched this unfold I can now say they just don't care what we think.

If it costs them control of Congress they obviously believe it is a worthwhile trade as they are convinced the cycle will just repeat down the road as the fools will just put them in office again soon. Once they do this all bets are off and we may see draconian measures that were thought impossible just yesterday.

There, I fixed it for ya Shooter.
