Hi jrskydawg68, GREAT looking gun!!! Did you sand the slide? Or paint it? Please tell me(Us HP people) step by step want you did(do) to get this FINE gun. Thanks so much.

All I did was...
1) Take the slide off
2) Take the firing pin, spring and 'pin thingy' out
3) 4 coats of chrome spray paint with about 20-30 min wait between each.
4) Let dry for 48 hrs before putting back together.

I haven't fired it yet since so I'll have to report back with how it holds up when it gets hot.

Hmmm.. my neighbor does powdercoating. Wonder what I can come up with!!!

I love the chrome on the HP Pistols. I wish the 9mm and 45 would come factory like .380.
Looks good man.
