I'm in need of some advice and opinions.

I have a sig sauer p250 subcompact 40 and also the sig Xchange kit for full size 9mm.
Both have the sig light night sights equipped.

I got this in a trade a while back, i love the gun Judy not a fan of the long travel in the trigger.
From what i have seen the gun goes for 400-500$? And i found the kits online for 400$.

This is what he is offering

    Both guns
    Taurus model 605, .357/.38+p,
    Taurus pt709 slim,

I don't mind taurus guns but question is should i take the offer or pass?

Taurus revolver maybe, the pt hell no. I haven't had many good experiences with their semiautos

Just bought the 605 for $305 + tax, the 709 slim is what...$220-$270?

You'd be losing a good chunk of money, but gaining a gun, both with long triggers, though the revolver can be put in SA mode, and is pretty decent in either case.

I'd ask for him to toss in some money and/or ammo, considering the Sig name and more importantly, the night sights' value.

Ultimately they are your guns and it is your decision, but if you take the deal make sure he wears a condom because he'll be f&%king you. ;)

    That's what i thought honestly.
I figured best bet is hold off for a better offer.
Out of all the guns i have traded this is by far one of the hardest to get a good trade on.

I bought a glock 32 for 500$ and traded that for the sig so all in all i paid 500$ for it.

Also to clarify he is offering a 2 for 1 deal.

Are you just looking for ANY replacement, or did you just want the other guns?
If he'll toss some more ( a significant amount of more) in the pot, it's not the worst way to get rid of a gun you don't like.

From what I read, the trigger pull is long, but reset is short, and the trigger is good once you get past the long pull, and "they" say its an easy gun to run fast in double and triple tap drills.

Many LIKE the long pull, as a safety feature, I guess.

My DA/SA Taurus PT140 has a long pull in DA, but I don't mind it, it's VERY easy, and feels a lot like the old military triggers I'm used to.

Just cuz you got a $730 gun for $500, does not mean I would
trade for 2 $500 guns, unless you really wanted those 2 badly
and found the Sig to be less than you expected. I would not
trade 1 really good weapon (which is actually 2) for 2 Taurii
myself. But the Sig you listed does not excite me enough
to actually go looking for it. Good in theory, and it's a Sig,
but poly guns are not my cup-o-tea

What model 709? I had a 709FS. It is just over $200 New. The SS is $100 more. Utterly reliable but I hated the trigger. The revolver is just over $300 New. I would rather have the Sig than both of them.

Don't get me wrong, I like Taurus. Not enough to trade a Sig for it though... Unless you absolutely hate it, but even then I think you need to get a little more out of it, ammo or something...

I once had a Glock 26 that I hated... I traded it for a Springfield XD, So I took a little bit of a beating on the Glock, but it just wasn't my thing.
