Two birds..

..in one trip. Dropped off my C&R application(s), post office and CLEO, and dropped in the local gun shop to look around. (again)
The guy just got in a Mosin and stuck it back for me..to make a long story short..I walked out with a numbers matching Mosin..SN of 2555..with sling, dated 1942. Imported by Inter Ordinance of Monroe, NC
Sorry no pics, my camera passed away..gotta get another one asap.

nice dude, i love my mosin....i wanna sporterized one.....but i love them stock too....looks like im going to need two, LOL

Krippp..Naw I went in looking to pay off the VZ when he said he had a Mosin stuck back for me..after looking the Mosin over I told him to get the paperwork out..I'd pay off the VZ on payday..heh..or before. And Krippp, for what it's worth that 30.06 we talked about..all the the wood is exactly the same color, tone, and all, so if that one is original and not bubba'd up I'll have to get it to..I'll get with ya on that for sure.

wickedwd5000..I just happen to have a dolled up Mosin, or two, that would scare some people. I might part with one.

they look good man, but half the fun is building the rifle....gonna have to pass on that one. i found a cracked stock 91/30 on century arms for $59....might have to break out he old c&r again, LOL
