    That IS very cool, but you can bet your bottom dollar it IS pretty heavy when fully loaded.

    100 round belt with 1-6 tracers weighs about 6.8 lbs. Add in 8-10 lbs for the pack and the belt guide. call it 44-45 lbs, plus the gun, water, rations, etc.

    Not all that bad.:p

    Add body armor, water, sidearm, skittles, and other gear and it adds up. But like the man said you can never have enough ammo.

    Red Jacket Firearms had one for the Russian PKM. So not a new design idea.
