    I love how it is constructed of zamak and still costs over $400.

    Nope. Actually made in the Walther factories, proof marked for Ulm and Koln.

    Isn't Umarex a division of Walther, also made in Germany?

    Nope. Umarex owns Walther.:D

    So technically everything made by Walther is actually made by Umarex.

    But Umarex makes stuff in Arnsberg, while Walther makes stuff in Ulm and Koln.

    I'm sure Walther used some Umarex techniques and materials to cut some costs, so it isn't exactly like these are high end Walther quality guns. But they are Walthers.
