Could be a scam, then again it might just be a way to knock 200 bucks off the price of something someone has been wanting.

Oh I agree but you of course lose a firearm in the process so its not really like $200 free and clear.

Well true, but your swapping out one for another. I wouldn't mind having a 250 just for the switchability but I don't have a "klunker" to send away. Though my neighbor who just got a p229 back in the spring is ill over this offer, but that's life.

Hrmn they have a right to turn down firearms but won't list the criteria for it? What a crock. Sides even with 200 bucks off a Sig I still find most of them to be real over priced. I know, they are world class guns but you do pay more for the name. I'm just a truck driver I'm nota lawyer, I have a ruger sized budget, not a sig or HK budget.

I'm pretty sure that they'd send your gun back if it didn't qualify, and sorry, but the LGS can get C9s for the same price.

And SW, whats your American klunker? In another thread you say you have a glock, not american, and sigs are just a little more, and a better gun.

I love sigs, and I think this is a great way to get one at a decent price.

What really sticks in my craw is they have a right to deny any gun, they don't list specifics... also you have to buy the sig first, then wait 8 weeks for your "refund" assuming you get it. If not your stuck with the sig... which is ironic they chose the klunker program cause alota car dealers are STILL waiting on their money from the gov. and their stuck with eating the cost of the "refund"(which BTW is TAXABLE INCOME but that's another story...)

I'd tell em to pound sand.
