Just got a C9 today and warranty states it "is warranted to the original retail customer for life from date of original purchase". Is this new, other posts i've read say that the warranty transfers to any owner.
Answer to previous post about proof of ownership, they say, "Send your firearm to us via Priority Mail or UPS along with a photocopy of your proof of retail purchase freight charges prepaid."

I know this has been said many times, but it can't be said enough.

What a fantastic company!

Their warranty is better than Craftsman tools! They not only don't need to see the gun, but while ordering a trigger and sear cam for my buddies 995B the guy walked me through the gun and is sending all up dates to boot! I'll keep using, buying, and promoting these firearms just to support that company. If the management at Hi Point was running this economy we'd be sitting real pretty right now.
