Even if you don't have a mortgage with Wells Fargo, if you have accounts with them etc watch your statements. I am willing to bet Bank of America will be doing this too. I had a run in with B o A in 2005. They were jerks. Watch this to the end. One thing he didn't mention is the possibility of them taking your funds for a "bail in" when things go really South.

You're an idiot if you don't check your accounts with anything not just banks. Nothing new. Banks foreclosure is nothing new on homes if you don't pay the mortgage. Happens all the time. I have Wells Fargo and never had an issue with them. But I also don't have my home loan thru them. That's thru the state bank of ND. This is just another chicken with its head cut off video.

Wells Fargo's practice of opening accounts in customers' names without their permission, just to pump their new account opening numbers, pretty much tells the story about that crap institution.
