-2 in the warm end of MN... sun sure is getting some power, was still melting snow off the porch roof! Water drops in my hair froze instantly though when I went out to the garage for a bag of pellets.
Dusting of snow, 2 foot drifts from the wind blowing old snow around... and of course the fun plow leftovers that are 3' deep and 4' wide... concrete snow. Snowblower just wanted to ride up and over it so had to hack it down with a shovel
-17 for a high after -30 low last night. City had something freeze up at the water tower so no water for 12 hours while they trucked in a new part... So glad I keep about 20 gallons of water in jugs for emergency flushes!
Rain for me, I am going to be on the warm side of that storm. LOT of melting today, 39 for a high temp, 40's tomorrow, high 30's Thursday... snow piles are compacting and if I get the inch of rain they will really shrink!
Gusting to 40, might gust over 60 as the center of the low gets closer... barometric pressure hit 28.32" which might be a record for my part of Minnesota!
