2 inches of wet heavy slop that can stay where it landed and melt. I m NOT shoveling the crap!
7pm Monday, to 1am Wednesday they are predicting rain, winds, heavy storms, and possible tornadoes. Ida is coming to visit. 4-7 inches of rain in the forecast. I'm hoping it the worst goes to the South of me.

Last weekend was the flooding in Waverly, McEwen, parts of Dickson. Up to 18" of rain in a 6 hour period. It wiped out a bridge West of me. SR48 got shut down. Still down. I wasn't home for it. I was in Lewis county it wasn't that bad.
Blue skies and mid-90's through next week here in Dallas. We were busy as heck the last few days and I talked to a few folks who came in. They said lots of people were evacuating from Louisiana in anticipation of Ida. Nice to have the business but I hope their homes are OK.

@TNTRAILERTRASH - Stay safe, Trashcan. Here in Tuna we're expecting a little rain and a breeze on Wednesday, but everything bad is predicted to go south of us. Maybe it'll get Nancy in DC

Nice here until Thursday when some leftover hurricane may make it up here. Almost 2 inches of rain the last 5 days so things are greening back up.
@TNTRAILERTRASH Maybe it'll get Nancy in DC
Hopefully a house will land on her, her feet will curl up and she'll never be seen again. Ah, one can only hope.

My husband is stuck in it right now. His kids live near Lafayette and he had a wounded war hero fishing thing down off the tip of the boot, so he planned a trip down there for some good time with fellow vets- especially with what's going on in Afghanistan- and then some time with his kids. They managed to get a half day of off shore fishing in before they canceled and made a hurried trip back to shore. Took him darn near another day to get through New Orleans and north enough to find a hotel room. He can't get to his kids now- they're sheltering in place with their mom.
I'm home sick from work. Couldn't get a covid test scheduled until Tuesday.
If you pray, say a little one for us please.

Well it was 60* at dark. It's 9:30 PM. It's now 70*. Warm from and a cold front are going to clash tonight. Watching the radar I think it isn't going to be crazy as they claim above me. However the local TV doom predictors are pointing to the tornado watch 'til 2AM. It may set extended to 8-9AM.

Pretty mild winter so far.
It was mild until today. It rained yesterday, only about 40 degrees. Then the wind came up hard, dried everything off the truck, then it dropped to 20 degrees last night, and today never got over 30 with that wind cutting through you.
I was sure I’d be scraping thick clear ice off the windshield today, after all that rain. But everything was dry! Crazy.
Fuck me! It's rocking and rolling outside. There is probably more than one just North of me. I got zero notice. The tornadoes are moving on the ground @70mph.

@TNT you okay?
I went back to bed at 5am. Still have power.

Just woke up. It's going to get really cold tonight for some people. I just turned the TV on. Thankful it went about 2mi above me. #3 doesn't have power. She's in White Bluff.

4" of snow, northern MN got 20". Warmish for winter at 29 degrees and very little wind. Headed back above freezing next couple of days...
60 and rain in Central PA - a real shock for the final day of deer season! High 50s and sunny the whole of next week, if you believe the weather guys. I'll take it - gotta get a new window installed Monday. Been waiting since September!
Yesterday, a heat wave.

Today, winter!

Chilly wind, mid 40s low 50s for the highs. High 30s, low 40s for the lows. 20-30mph winds since last night. 45mph gusts reported. Lots of rain this morning. Tmobile network was down several times this morning.
Anyone know if any of our member got caught in the tornado last night? Trahy seems safe, but I'm hearing it was really bad
