and I just had a lightning strike LOL ground system handled it just fine. I am on the warm side of that mess.

5am this morning got a call from a friend who lives in Vegas. Rolling out of Beaver Utah. Said it was snowing pretty heavy. We just had lots of heavy rain, oddles and goobobs of lighting. I saw lots of deep water on I-40 where I've never seen it before. I was hydroplaning at 45mph at one point. Pea rock size hail. More predicted for tomorrow, possibly spin up tornadoes

Severe thunderstorms last night while Northern MN was in a snowstorm... lots of lightning, 1/2 inch hail, at 7:30 it was as dark as 10pm but it was a green dark eerie color so I knew rough weather was incoming. .75" of rain but frost isn't out yet so lots of ponding in the fields, across the street it is probably 4' deep in the low spot. Field drain tiles are still full of ice so it can't drain.
We may get hit again tonight blizzard warning still in effect. But it's beautiful out today. Roads are mostly clear or slushy. Damn snow was all gone before yesterday. And we were waiting for the ground to thaw. Just another restart.

Well last week we were 50s and 60s, mostly sunny. Then it decided to be winter again. Got damn near a foot overnight Monday night. Which stinks as we just got an excavator rented friday for the month and got a lot done with it but now we are kind of stuck. Lots of clay and mud here and we don't want to f the ground up trying to run a track machine through here while its so wet. More expected tonight and tomorrow.

You guys got it good. My cameras at home show a fair amount but we missed a good chunk of the Wednesday snow. Jamestown is still closed. But heading towards Fargo is just icy roads and low visibility. With no sleep I didn't want to mess with it. Everyone is saying between valley city and Jamestown should be closed also.
My cousins in Williston are enjoying the snow.
