Only the ones born here. 1/2 the state is snowbirds, running around in shorts.Meanwhile, Floridians are breaking out their thermal undies and goose down parkas:

Sweetie's pulling in all her potted plants to protect them, and she'll be covering some of the temperature-sensitive shrubs. I'm like "plant hardier plants!!" which isn't going down too well. <shrug>
I joke about transplants getting "Florida blood" in their veins. Sweetie and my FIL are complaining about the cold, and they're native NYers. Yep, the 'birds are obvious, they ARE running around in tee shirts, flip flops and shorts.Only the ones born here. 1/2 the state is snowbirds, running around in shorts..
...or any time of year. Gracious, there are some seriously impaired (visually, mentally, functionally) Q-Tips here who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a steering wheel. Most of them can’t drive, no matter where they are….
Mother Nature ain’t drunk this time. I think she’s started smoking crack.Bipolar shit here. Was 65° and sunny after the -35°, then it dropped to mid-10's and we got 2" of snow overnight, warmed back up in to the 60's again and my house turned in to a mud track, now it's hovering in the mid-30's and we had a snow squall blow through but only 1" of snow that stuck. 40's and 50's called for the rest of the week with no snow and single digit overnight temps.
I think you missed a tick mark on that one... 🤣8' of snow and counting... still snowing on/off as wrap around bands of snow go thru. Low is over the Twin Cities on the eastern side of the state. Have to dig out the back deck enough to get to the pellet stove vent. The fresh air intake is blocked partially so burning lazy/dirty.
oops LOL what I get for typing with my glasses off...I think you missed a tick mark on that one... 🤣
They shut down 100 miles of I-25 from NM to Pueblo.Ick keep it down there!
