Swass is his punishment. He can keep that heat. I prefer the cold. Its easier to add layers then take off.

It's 03:30 AM CST here in Houston Texas and the temperature is 73°F.

Almost too warm to sleep comfortably.

I have a dehumidifier going. Weirdly warm outside. 70 in my bedroom. I actually turned the air on to deal with it.. Just saw the blonde bombshell on channel 5. Flurries Sunday night. 2-3 inches East of I-65 possible.

What are you using to access the site? I had issues with Samsung internet on my phone. It would not let me post pictures. Stopped using it and went to Chrome no issues now. Taptalk was a crap shoot also.
Chrome-dome-E-dome, on the phone. PC uses Firefox. PC is the bitch. It use to work, now it's not.

Going to be 22* in the AM. 34* when I got home from Bama. It was sleeting, raining, and snowing all at the same time. Barely got the lock to unfreeze on the gate. Parked the car, raised the wiper arms up into the air so I won't have frozen blades stuck to the windshield. Car is already glazed over in 30minutes.

Computer models here were all over the place yesterday. 4-18" We have cold rain, sleet pellets, possible freezing rain. Snow could start at 6pm continue to 6pm Sunday, then more snow showers before the morning commute on Monday. Only calling for 6" now. If we get a coat of ice on top it will cause problems.

Temps for tomorrow might be in the low to mid 30's so a "wintery mix" is a definite forecast. Power lines could go down. I have a big tub of candles, lots of propane in the little cans for a Coleman lantern. My infrared wall heater will keep me warm, it requires no electricity to keep running.

I blame Global Warming :D

Not the fake out heat wave, just the idiots tryna scrap the old reliable methods. They try to model a non-event, they get wild results.

GIGO
They were playing some really heavy duty tic-tac-toe in the sky on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Forecast was for this cold front to dip into the Gulf of Mexico, gather up moisture, and dump frozen precipitation on us this weekend.

To top things off we are talking a full moon for your attitude. GF got a text this morning asking her to come work the neo-natal unit today. She isn't scheduled back to work until Wednesday. I told her to snag the $$$$.

Raining, it is applying a glaze to the trees and grass. Power lines could snap, or get hit by tree branches. I am charging the phone tonight for sure, leaving the water heater on too. Power goes out? I will be good for a while.

Calling for 1/2" of freezing rain between Thursday and Friday. Looks like another short pay check to me. Hopefully I will be home when SHTF.

60's today

Unfortunately. Her ex is dragging out the custody and support hearing. Submitting incomplete financial statements, continuations, etc. With only 1 judge in the county and Covid backing things up, he's been getting 60 and 90 day extensions to put us up to almost 18 months worth of stalling.
If the judge could threaten him with a nice cheery threat of contempt that could light a fire under his ass. However he might know the judge on a personal basis. Small town politics!

Quick! Sell them an over priced generator, roils of toilet paper, milk and bread! LOL
In a disaster FEMA will reimburse you for buying a generator. I have one in my shop I bought for hurricane Wilma in 2005.

SHED EXPLOSION = METH LAB

('Round here, at least!)
Around here it used to be trailer explosions. However since the Sxxxxxxxx MC moved into my area stories say they are importing it from Mexico and putting the locals out of business.

And next Monday ND/SD/MN go back in the deep freeze for 4 days... No snow in the 10 day forecast... may go into March with little to no snow here!
Consult the Old Farmers Almanac for the definitive most accurate forecast.

Small jurisdiction in Texas. There's one district judge and one city magistrate. His own lawyer (family lawyer) has had to send the Sheriff's Department out for a welfare check because he was ignoring EVERYBODY for a while. With the Covid induced backlog of cases slowly getting churned through based on priority, not filing date, he'll get nailed soon enough.
Must be devastating to lose a redhead!

My GF's former son in law is in deep crap with his divorce terms. Hasn't transferred all of their debt into his name per the decree. (contempt) Got remarried before the 60 day time limit per AL law. (Not sure what that penalty would be. Maybe annulment. That may be in his favor as I think the new wife might be giving him the heave-ho.)

Evidently adultery is a big thing with marital law in Alabama. He doesn't have custody of the kids. The judge doesn't hold this guy in very high regard.

He refuses to take the 3 kids to the church they have been attending since birth per the divorce decree. (contempt again)

After the divorce was final he bought a the bimbo a big diamond, and himself a new $65K+ truck.

GF's daughter offered an agreement less than the state minimum child support payments to. He took it.

He works for a gubmint defense contractor. Maybe works in their security division. Bad credit could lead to termination. Top that off with having to reimburse his wife for $5000 in attorney fees for the up coming court visit.

His mommy will financially bail him out for sure.

Stupid does hurt.

Oh yeah, she had her lawyer put the screws to him. She filed another abandonment/no contact amendment because he changed his phone number and NONE of the kids have the new one, not even the adult children from his first marriage where the wife vanished in the middle of the night. Mommy and daddy have him the family oil business so he has FU money in his own pocket and family money in the war chest. And she finally listened to me and let her lawyer of the chain so she's going full court press. Alimony, child support, continued education for the kids since he insisted on sending a kid to Juilliard and buying her an apartment in NYC, business expenses since he insisted on being added to the ranching business, all legal expenses, etc. He broke his leg while inspecting a drilling rig, and moved in with his side piece 2 years ago and basically hasn't seen his kids since? It's not looking good for him.
I wish I could like that post twice!
