cold... 4 for a high, 4" snow, ice on the roads under the snow making them treacherous for driving. I canceled an appointment for today because of it.

Well it hit 70 today. No rain for a week. You can just about walk in the grass without sinking up. Things are looking up!

This morning was the coldest my area got in a year and it was just between 25 and 30.. had some snow... of course it all melted away by 3pm due to high of 41 degrees. Forecasters saying some snow and rain mixed coming this weekend and through to Valentines Day, so its gonna be interesting

Not good here at all. Thunder Ice Storms. Yea, really. Getting a lot of ice. NWS says .25 inch tonight and .1 inch tomorrow, .1 inch tomorrow night, .1 inch Wednesday and .1 Inch Wednesday night, and .1" Thursday.

The hyphen separates the sentence from the temperature else in order to reflect negative seventy-eight degrees Fahrenheit, I would have marked it:

-78°F

Of course it's -2° now that I have all of my truck parts in hand and a clean shop to work in.

Mid-70s here today, been warmish all week. Last time I saw weather like this around here it was followed by 14" snow in March, around 1980-81-82 (last century). Fortunately(?) I was in Gitmo at the time, only thing cold there was the beer in the machine at the laundromat. Coldest beer I've ever had.

Parking lot at work was flooded. It was hard to get back into the yard as Metro had the roads blocked off. The water was touching the chin spoiler on the golden couch. Looked like I was going to have to wade through 2ft of water to get to my car. 30 minutes later it was drained away

It’s raining again here too.

SWMBO quipped this morning that we had better get busy on the ark, we already have 2 of every animal!
