It's been warm enough to make mud out of the frozen ground here. Sunny and clear, 40's in the day, mid 20's at night.
Should snow a few inches next week.

68, sunny, and clear blue skies. Makes me wish the bike was put back together. It's a perfect day for a ride.

Rain and snow this morning, becoming all snow for the afternoon. Thunder possible. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precip 100%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

High of 37* tonight 19* and I thought I was done carrying the propane torch for the gate's padlock!

Snowing here, lightly, but on and off since yesterday morning. Sat on the road just below the pass for 40 minutes last night as the EMT’s and LEO sorted out a car and pickup with trailer, not sure who was going where, but they met pretty hard, two ambulances, three wreckers, and a LOT of pissed off truckers.

What happened to the day when they’d shove all the broken stuff off to the side, and cops would direct traffic around the scene, while the EMTs did their job? It’s 4 lanes wide, both vehicles ended up against a guardrail 15’ off the road, they could have easily kept all the emergency vehicles in one lane, left one lane as a buffer, and got traffic going slowly both ways in the other two lanes...but no.

Lawsuits. If they get up and move themselves, they're taking the risk of furthering injuries in to their own hands. If we move them then treat them, it's all our fault they were even injured in the first place because they felt fine right up until we intervened.

This is typical for where I'm at in CO. Winter doesn't really hit until January and runs though March. April sucks for cold crappy rainy days.
