I bought my first Hi-point .45 years ago with very little knowledge whether it was a good pistol or not. (hence the existence of this forum.) It turned out to shoot flawless for years. (hence the fact we grow everyday here at HPFF) :)

Well I gave my HP .45 a year or so ago to my bro-in-law for home protection for my baby niece and sister. She took care of me and mine for years and it was time to pass her along. I had my Rugers, Remington and savage firearms to hold down the fort but missed my HP.

So today im Hi-pointless no longer! Went to my local gunshop, found me a new 995 and grabbed it almost immediately. Grabbed a box of rounds, drove home and started slaying a tree flawlessly. Love it! Reminded me of why I started this place. :)

Oh and the gun shop I bought it from is cool as hell. Theyre almost always wearing a Hi-point shirt and have nothing but praise for our beloved guns! (for the record, if youre ever in eastern OK, and want a good shop, it was JRs Gun Shop in Poteau, OK)

Now that is funny! Here I am an 18 month HP guy, with more HP guns than the King Sh*t himself!
Glad you got back into the ownership of the gun...and glad you kept ownership of this forum...gives aimless guys like me a place to hang out! :D

Yeah, really! Those of us that spend all our cash on ammo, and then were stuck at home cause were broke! LOL!

Jones, your 3rd paragraph reminded me of how I fell in love with HP carbines. I can't hardly wait until they start mfg of the 4095 and fill my standing order!! The TS is such a huge improvement over the classic, it is the 1st weapon I grab when I get to the range. It is also standing in the corner loaded next to my bed & my lazyboy in the livingroom.

I fell in love with the 995TS. It is a sweet shooter!

I lucked into an auction for three (3) new HP C9 Comp pistols. Christmas gifts!

If you go get a HP pistol (and you will go get a HP pistol), keep your hand low on the grip. The blowback action can skin your knuckles!

Welcome to the club!
