I bought my first Hi-point .45 years ago with very little knowledge whether it was a good pistol or not. (hence the existence of this forum.) It turned out to shoot flawless for years. (hence the fact we grow everyday here at HPFF)
Well I gave my HP .45 a year or so ago to my bro-in-law for home protection for my baby niece and sister. She took care of me and mine for years and it was time to pass her along. I had my Rugers, Remington and savage firearms to hold down the fort but missed my HP.
So today im Hi-pointless no longer! Went to my local gunshop, found me a new 995 and grabbed it almost immediately. Grabbed a box of rounds, drove home and started slaying a tree flawlessly. Love it! Reminded me of why I started this place.
Oh and the gun shop I bought it from is cool as hell. Theyre almost always wearing a Hi-point shirt and have nothing but praise for our beloved guns! (for the record, if youre ever in eastern OK, and want a good shop, it was JRs Gun Shop in Poteau, OK)
