I was hearing about recent pricing close to the 2c per round level, 22lr, but that was talking to a friend around the time of Sandy Hook. Slightly before, if memory serves.

If my rememberer is working correctly, those were purchased between 1977 and 1981

I bought a case of 115gr PMC. $349.95 shipped from Rainier Arms. Took 200rds of M80 out of my cart. IIRC it was $.80 a round shipped. I did get my usual box of M80 from Walmart on Sunday. I'm going shooting next week for sure. Maybe twice!
