Finally bought a Maglula loader. The silly little Sig mags hurt my hand, they’re so short they dig into my palm when I press the rounds into them. And I have to press hard.

As reported, the loader makes it easy. Good deal.

Also ordered a spare 12 round Sig mag, and a kydex IWB holster. Cheap no name Amazon model. After the $45 mag, I didn’t feel like splurging anymore.

Every 9mm I have hurts to load, no problem with other calibers. So what's the reason??? 45ACP is easy-peasy compared to the 9s.

Surface area, I think. The pressure on a 9 mm is concentrated into a smaller object, so it fights you harder.
Also, it could be that most 45 mags don’t hold 12 or 17 or 33 rounds.

Yeah, those last couple of rounds are a PITA to insert. Now that I think about it, the .380 (9mm short) is hard on the fingertips to load too.

Finally got the stainless steel guide rod for the G2C in from Lake line. Definitely looks sturdier than that damn polycrap that was in it. Guess we’ll see how well it works this weekend. :)

Did you get the striker sleeve? I heard that really improves the crunchy trigger.

I bought 2 Sig Romeo 5's for the AR's for $89 each from PA last Sunday. Arriving tomorrow. There are running $119 most places right now. (no shake awake)

Got a 2yo set of Trijicon night sights for the 43X off a guy on a G forum for $45 shipped.

Crunchy trigger? I haven’t had any problems with mine. So far it’s been crisp and clean.
My G2Milllinnnnnnnnimum is that way. Haven't shot my G2C much so maybe it isn't a problem? I can't remember the 2C's. @Dubar swapped his G(?) tube and it did better

Idk if this counts but I've been building on my gear lately, just ordered a Rothco plate carrier, kydex mag holders and some other various stuff. Saving for my level 4 ceramics currently. Can't wait to get plates.

Just saw this, sorry.

Yep, but I only take it once/day. I've found if I don't change the lancet every 3rd time it starts to sting, they don't stay sharp long. 30-day average for blood glucose is 105. Lowest has been 77!!!

Speaking of diabetes...they wouldn't do my shoulder surgery in March because my A1c had skyrocketed to 10.5. I started walking 1.5 miles/day and got it down to 5.9 as of yesterday!!! Surgery re-scheduled for August 18!!! Amazing what a little exercise will do. Now I'm addicted to walking every day o_O I had gotten down to 195lbs but have put back on 5lbs. Not sure if I gained muscle or not, could be some old eating habits have creeped back in, like apple pie ice cream

You had mentioned the A1C and surgery postponement. Good job getting your numbers down. I got down to 8.4 but need to up my exercise.

Thanks! My problem is not that I like to eat (which I do) but when I find something that hits the spot I can't stop eating it until it's gone. Gotta have better (portion) control than that. Takes me 20-25 minutes to walk the 1.5 miles, not fast but not slow. I wish I could jog but my knees/hips/back would suffer.

I was telling a friend of mine yesterday about the shoulder joint replacement and that basically they're going to cut off my arm and fix it, that grossed her out. I told her as long as I don't have to watch I'm OK with it. I just want the pain to go away.

Speaking of gun parts...I recently got a pack of Wolff springs for my P08 Luger, but since it shot so well I think I'll hold onto them until needed.

Picked up a package deal of a Sig Whiskey3 4-12x40 scope, and a Kilo1400x rangefinder. It’s an odd deal because the rangefinder can do a ton of nifty things like talk to some Sig gear, but the scope is the base model.

Sig scopes are A1 man, I had a Sig prism scope and it was amazing. Great quality for a fraction of the price of an ACOG.

Had this bad boy custom made by my best friend and battle buddy, he owns his own business and is doing great, pumping out some amazing duty grade gear. Ive begged and pleaded with him to get my model pistol for a holster and he finally did. The print is called Olive Drab Jesus
