I use a digital Gen 1 active IR optic on my 870 w/ rifled slugs to hunt pigs @ night on Federal grassland that is shotgun only. Been awhile, and my hunting buddy has a newborn so he's not getting out much.

Went to another Gun Show today. Picked up some inexpensive flip up back up sights for 20 bucks, a extended lever charging handle for the AR for another 20 bucks and then Picked up a Strikeman Laser target practice set up with the 9mm laser for 100 bucks, Been seeing this thing at the shows for awhile. Finally pulled the trigger (pun intended).
practiced for a couple hours at home with 3 different 9's. Super fun! It works with an app on your phone. you can set session length, drills, you can even compete with others that have the Strikeman. I haven't got that crazy with it yet. We'll see. I think it'll be a heck of a lot cheaper than the cost of ammo and help me to develop good muscle memory. You can buy different caliber lasers to fit most common calibers, so I think I will definitely invest in a couple more. .223, 10mm, .45acp. Fun fun fun!!

On the fence, yes it's a Tacfire, thought they were Chinese but it does say USA made. $69.00 isn't a bad price, it's adjustable 3.5-6.5lb. Not like I need any more drop in triggers but guess it would give me an excuse to build another AR lol

$70 for a chassis trigger? Grab it.

ETA: Have you shopped w/ those guys before? Not seeing an address, be careful, could be fake.

Yeah, I ordered a Holosun WML about 2 months ago, of course to match my Holosun Pistol red dot :)

Got that for $79.99 I think. Shipping a little slow but I did get it within 10 days after ordering.

Free shipping and no tax too.

Yeah I ordered it.

I have been seeing these products advertised on TV lately. I'm not sure what brand I've seen or if it's the same as yours though. I do wonder if you need wifi for it to function properly. I'm assuming it needs Bluetooth at least, but hopefully not wifi.
I think it just bluetooths to your phone. The one I've been seeing is the Mantis X. Pretty much the same type thing. There are similar cheaper ones on Amazon, but this was kinda an impulse buy. That's how they get you at the Gun Shows.

That's EXACTLY it. I've sold a 1911 just by putting it into a gal's hand everytime she put it down. ;)

Holy crap... even cheaper... not a flat trigger but these are AC-Unity AR drop in triggers.

It's a conspiracy to get me to spend more money!!!

Let us know how it is....the wording about the mystery metal they used is worrisome.

Meanwhile, I'm, waiting for my handguards and "flash hider" to come in for my AR9 rifle upper, but I had a spare....4" on a 16", and the biggest flash can I own. 🤣
I probably won't use this lower with the magwell adapter in the long term, it was just the one I grabbed to play with.

went to local WalMart...bought 2-piece bas for a Remmie 700 and a set of xtra-high Weaver Quad Lock rings.
this to mount the Tasco 6-24 x42 Silver Antler scope on the "soon-to-be" 22-250 sporter that I bought.

Love the Weaver Quad mounts. Use them whenever possible on my guns.

Good eye - zinc is a marine grade metal that is non-magnetic. 😐

That's a good looking stick - where did you get that lightweight 9x19mm bbl?
...Good news…I now have a spare buffer for my AR carbines.🙄
Nah, what you actually have is the first piece of a whole new build

Wut? Zinc isn't marine grade shit. It's used as a sacrificial galvanic anode in seawater.

Yup. It's a marine grade metal, lol. They're probably using Zamak, as they claim their new trigger is non-corrosive.

I'm willing to bet it's an LM series aluminum.

It's an Alpha Shooting Sports barrel, $125 at Primary Arms, $140 at the Alpha site.

I saw some other brands cheaper, but none in stock.
Just some Iewb. Hoppes Gun Medic Lube and some CLX stuff.

I figure with having the sonic cleaner now i can afford to experiment with cheap lube and if it gums up, oh well. On to the next one.
