Yeah, uncoates zamak doesn't really stand up all too well in humidity. Anodized is best of course. But still, you might be right since they're made in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Although B&H is known for its high quality metal parts and at one time they were manufacturing tons of gun parts for Yugoslavia and had huge contracts with Volkswagen.

Well Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian all use different alphabets to speak virtually identical languages, so that is entirely possible.

Meanwhile, I'm, waiting for my handguards and "flash hider" to come in for my AR9 rifle upper, but I had a spare....4" on a 16", and the biggest flash can I own. 🤣
I probably won't use this lower with the magwell adapter in the long term, it was just the one I grabbed to play with.

That actually looks pretty cool as is - sometimes the ones you slap together work and look the best!!!

But yeah will let you know. I have had some AC unity stuff, some of it really cheap (glock mags) but they work...

Final parts came in. TacFire Red/Green dot, some old irons, Lakota Ops 15” handguard, and I like this lower and buttstock for the gun.

Bought a mag for my 22TCM 1911 A2. I've owned this one for years and only ever had the one mag that came with it. I figured I better pick up another before I can’t anymore. Thinking I’ll get a set of G10 grips for it too. Nobody was making grips for the A2 when I bought it.

Bought a Feyachi RS 30 reflex sight...has 4 reticle patterns....5 brightness settings...2 colour settings......comes with batteries.
Also bought a scope base for a 10/22 .
Mounted both of the above on an elderly Stainless Ruger 10/22 carbine....Hope to shoot it soon and zero the reflex sight.

Couple items, lately.

1. New Academy pic rail bipod, with the external springs, for the Ruger PC Carbine. It also has a sling swivel conversion rail included, good value part!

2. Streamlight TLR-7sub, SA Hellcat specific light. Now I need a new holster for the front of trigger mounted light.

Might as well get one with dual mag carriers while I'm at it

Picked up a couple of parts kits to muddle around with.

Top is for an RG-25 (yeah, I know, barf city) to complete a receiver I've had lying around. One of those small RG bits is made of unobtainium. I got everything cheap, so what the heck. I'll be careful not to shoot my eye out.

Bottom is for a Heritage Rough Rider - birds head frame. Not that I needed it, but it too was cheap, and the seller was combining shipped so, again, what the heck.

You can order the birds head directly from them. They are pretty cheap for parts.

Picked up a Luth-AR MBA-3 kit for 7.62/.308, a Faxon 16" Gunner barrel in .308, and a new upper vice block for the LR/SR.

Anyone not familiar with you, might look at this really quickly and think you are simply kitting out and buying all the parts dor a new AR (or two!) because they gave you a "free" pistol grip 😹
