I got a Colt Model 1903. And since I live in California I got to wait 10 days for it.
But I'd love to hear about everyone's new purchases!

You guys said no guns.
well iff'n yer gonna be staying in PEEbidee, yer probably going to want to wet yer whistle in the room. I suggest you shop at a well known local purveyor of spirits right nearby at 79 Lowell Street in Peabody:

Well, I posted these pics a couple of days ago in the "what guns are you thinking about buying" thread. I met with the seller this morning and after looking it over I brought it home with me. Marlin 25M .22WMR, Green Mountain fluted .920 barrel with match chamber, oversized bolt handle.
Musical instrument Wood Rolling pin Hardwood Musical instrument accessory

Sleeve Wood Clothes hanger Beige Bag

Musical instrument Writing implement Office supplies Wind instrument Stationery

Hand Shoe Leg Wood Thigh

Very nicely put together rifle with a beech wood stock. The seller also included two boxes of Federal JHP ammo, Weaver scope bases and a extra trigger guard. I am well pleased so far, if it shoots as good as it looks I'll be super happy with it.

I think all of the striker fired guns have issues with being submerged in water and immediately trying to fire them, not an issue I'm concerned about. Some FNS models had issues with going bang when you didn't want them to but that's been corrected.

I bought an MP 15-22, traded in a shotgun for it. Haven't shot it yet but hoping soon to dial in my scope. It came with a Sight Mark red dot, But needs batteries. I opened it up today and had some bluish looking gunk all in there, waxy looking stuff or factory grease? Not sure however I cleaned it all up and lightly oiled it. I'll be using CCI mini mag ammo in it.
Heres what I've added to it:
Barska 4x zoom scope ( a tad over kill but oh well lol)
Magpul angle grip
B5 Bravo Sopmod milspec stock
JS Custom mock supressor
And of course the retracticle bi pod Plant Air gun Machine gun Trigger Shotgun

Check to see if your serial number is on the recall list. Mine was. They can fire out of battery. S&W will send you a gauge for free.
A 4x scope isn’t overkill for a .22, it’s just right. My 15-22 has the Vortex 2-7x32 on it.
