.22 in lever, bolt, revolver, semi-auto pistol or semi-auto rifle? Does the Twin 10/22 count as 1 or 2?
Not sure which catagory you want to count the Chiappa AR in (doesn't have a plastic upper anymore). :)
All AR's or specific calibers?
Are we gonna count Mossbergs too? Does Sears, Wards and Coast to Coast count too?
Bought enough Thing Meister mag releases he sent me a freebee with the last order. :p

Finally finished my Israeli FAL, had to wait on some parts and still waiting for a few more like gas regulator sleeve and gas tube retainer nut both with markings to make it correct but its getting there. Oh, still looking for some NOS Israeli mags too, they're getting hard to find...

Going with the transitional version, not sure if going to go back to the classic wood hand gaurd/HB config. The Barrel is a DSA and the receiver a Coonan so never be a true Israeli FAL but as close as I can get her.

Prolly shouldn't be posting pics but we still need gun porn every now n then.

Just finished the selector lettering tonight, man getting old sucks, was a pain painting those in lol...

Managed to find a Marlin model 60 .22 lr in pretty much mint condition for $180. I had one when i was a kid, so i had to get it.
Wow.....that’s new price there!
What year is it? 2000 subtract the first two digits of the serial number gives you the year, unless it’s a later unit, then you subtract from 2100, or if it’s an MM, you need a barrel code.

Its a ‘93 model. Just gotta find a scope mount for it, but the damn dovetail rail on it is tiny as hell. Lol. I’m surprised it’s not tapped for a scope, since it’s one of the longer barrel models.

Didn’t buy a gun but had Buds Guns send me an email today offering to buy back my .45 pistol and carbine that I got from them couple years back. Guess they are running out of stock or are trying to get ahead of the government buyback program lol.

I gotta admit, that is unusual.

Bud's sucks. I did do business with them back in the day. They are professional out of the closet ripoff artists.

That scope dovetail is called....a dovetail mount.

Find rings that are for a dovetail mount, and you’ll have the right one. Sometimes they are called 11 mm dovetail rings, or 3/8 inch dovetail rings.

You mean there are 11mm dovetails and then there are 3/8" dovetails, because they are not equal and don't always work with each other. The angle of the 3/8" is 45°, and the angle of the 11mm is closer to 60° so not all 3/8" will fit 11mm.

It's just your run of the mill SNAFU.

I've got a set of BKL "universals" in my spare parts box somewhere.

Edit: We could really go nuts and discuss round top vs flat top rails too.

Add to your absolutely valid points, the fact that items described as 11 mm aren’t always 11 mm and the angles on either of them aren’t always cut to a tolerance that makes any machinist happy, and that about covers it.
SNAFU is the correct word, fer shur.(y)

Yep. It's one of those trial and least amount of error deals.

Not today..but yesterday. Been looking for one in 10mm for a while. My Brother spotted it at a shop by his house, so i drove the 2 hrs to go buy it. Never shot a 10mm before, i imagine it will be a little "snappier" than my 1911s in 45 ?
Very nice purchase, congrats.

Yes, it will be a little snappier, But it shouldn't be much more than your 45 especially in a full size. Really depends on the ammo. They have some super hot 10mm out there where you will definitely notice the difference.
