I bought this one today. I've wanted the CPX-3, in .380 ACP, for a long time...now I got one. I took it to the range for just a function test, and it ran the Remington 88 grain JHP, and the Federal 95 grain FMJ's just fine. No malfunctions of any kind, but only ran 40 rounds total.

Monday I plan on taking it back to run a few more magazines through it. It seems to be a great little .380 for carry. Here it is:

Looks like a Sig P365 that ate too much, but hasn’t got as much punch.

It’s literally taller and wider.

But I suppose it’s a powderpuff to shoot. My Bersa is.

Spent some more mad money, a new CZ 75 B Omega. Just the base model. The Omega is the newer trigger design, you get the parts to make it a decocker or a safety. The trigger is also more straight than the old model.

I picked up two today, one was a holy grail one I have been wanting. It is an Arsenal Strike-One. Now the Strike-Ones alone are very nice, but most are 9mm, I found a 40S&W. Very Rare. So I was Happy, especially with the condition it was in. I don't think the shop knew what they had as it was priced "cheap". These usually sell for $800+ and I have seen them up to $1500-$1600. I got it for $600.

Next I had a friend, a friend with money...

he bought (4) Steyrs. A L9-A1 (one with threaded Barrel), M9-A1 and C9-A1 because he wasn't sure what he would like... So he is keeping the threaded long Slide and the M9. I got the L9-A1 standard - not a great deal @ $400 but a used price for a new gun in box...

The Sig and the CZ got here.
The CZ had some nasty slightly sticky anti rust coating. Not quite oil, not quite grease.
But it came off easy with some Shotgun Scrubber spray on a rag. Trigger is slightly heavy in DA, as is normal, and the single is clean, reset is a little longer than the modern tactical guns.

The Sig has paint wear on the corners, especially the rail and the beaver tail, and the parts that slide are SUPER shiny and “slidey”. The trigger pull is long and smooth, maybe 4 lbs at the break, and breaks right as you think it should. Such a smooth pull, no stacking, you just pull until it gets slightly heavier, and it breaks. Reset is WAY out there, but that’s fine by me, I don’t ride the reset anyway. Did I mention it’s smooth?

Nice stuff Ajole. They look great, all those little dings add character!!

Funny about those trigger pulls, back in the day those were GREAT, always loved CZ triggers. But the modern ones, almost any brand, the triggers have come such a long way.

We are used to the long pulls and longer resets, the youngin's out there, not so much lol.

I got a new space gun; Chiappa Rhino 60DS
Font Wood Tints and shades Publication Bag

These things have gotten to be hard as hell to find anywhere for sale, especially the longer barrels like this 60DS. Wishing I had gotten one years ago when they first came out and could be had for $800-$900 so I wouldn't have had to pay nearly $1600 just for the gun/shipping/transfer fee I did the other day

Because Hollywood bought them all up for the upcoming Judge Dredd reboot.

So I did a thing. And while I was doing the thing I found a flyer on the floor that said free flag gun case with any firearms purchase. I said two guns, two cases. They said sure.

Paid cash. I think I like the Rock Ultra MS (right) a little bit more than the GI FS(left). I'm looking forward to teaching the kid how to shoot handguns with the newly refurbed 422. I'm thinking he'll pick the FS as his first. Plus, now he can say his first firearm was a 1911. His second will be the NEF 20ga I was given back in the day. After that, he's on his own.

Oh that's about 80% of the appeal but there's some other subtle things I also like about it. I would have picked it up whether it was the FS or the CS. The ambi safety was a big thing, being a lefty.

Bobby learned a little bit about how total hand and grip strength don't matter if you don't know how the controls work.

Sig P322. Suppressor ready, cheaper than the Ruger SR or Mark series, much cheaper than the FN, more than the Taurus or KelTec…but then, it’s a Sig and holds 20+1.

They come with 2 mags, a loading sleeve, swappable straight or curved triggers, suppressor barrel extension, and a nice case. My freaking P365 doesn’t have a nice case!
