Like many American hunters, I started hunting in my youth, accompanying my relatives into the field.

Mostly, we carried the food and beverage pack at age 5.

Later, as we aged and depending on our maturity, we carried our airgun or, even a single shot firearm.

As youth, we started hunting with our peers, usually our cousins and schoolmates.

As we grew older, our chances for harvesting larger game increased.

Some folk even planned for trips to Africa to hunt large game like elephants, lions, gazelles or cheetahs.

My own records show that I've acquired mostly average fair on the North America continent.

Here's a chance for everyone to list their harvest record. Hunter, fisherman, trapper.
