I'm stealing this idea from another forum I'm on. It's helped me find some pretty cool stuff on days when I was bored.
If you have Netflix the Santa Clarissa diet is hilarious if you have a twisted sense of humor like mine!

I am so behind on shows I used to watch and have no idea what's current these days. Internet/data/service is non existent up on our property, and down here at 'winter camp' it's very minimal. Everything loads slow, if anyone posts a pic here it takes days to load. Streaming anything is out of the question. But the local library here has dvds for checking out, so we just binged Deadwood- hadn't seen that in years. They have Longmire and we are going to do that next as soon as season 1 gets returned by whoever has it. I've seen longmire but husband hasn't.
I have been interested in seeing the yellowstone series but I read more about it and idk if I am anymore, sounds like the same kind of 'people being shady and fucked up to each other' drama as any other show.

If you like Clint Eastwood movies you should checkout Diablo starring his son.

We just started the Blacklist. 9 seasons. Can’t believe I’ve never seen it. Pretty cool so far.
Longmire is a great show.
I loved that when it was on TV but I grew bored with it after several seasons because they never really answered anything.

The big stories get wrapped up in the last season. I started getting annoyed when it pretty much became The Elizabeth Keen Show. Still was worth watching just for James Spader.

Disney+ for the kids; my favorites thus far to watch when the kids are asleep....

The Mandalorian. No, it doesn't star Boba Fett  but he does show up in Season 2. 3rd season coming March 1st of 2023.

Andor- it's awesome. Way awesome. Tony Gilroy knocked it out of the park. It is Star Wars, but done as if it were a novel series, and done as an intrigue, spy thriller with very mature and serious themes. Not much comedy, very little do with Jedi & Sith. It's a slow burn, and may not be your cup of coffee. It's about a character who's in the Rogue One movie; his background and is set 5 years prior to A New Hope/Rogue One.

The others..

Book of Boba Fett. If you like Robert Rodriguez (Spy Kids and grindhouse flicks); you might like it. It's way more oriented to children and man-children than to people who like more serious themes  that said, it's not terrible, but not great either. Good popcorn and errands/chores series, something to have playing while doing stuff.

Obi-Wan Kenobi. Meh. Yes story is decent, but again, it's more oriented to children and has a kid lead in it even though it's about Obi-Wan Kenobi.. however the kid is not Luke as it should be.. it's Leia. Hayden Christensen of the Prequels, reprised his role as Anakin Skywalker /Darth Vader. Some decent fight scenes, some ridiculousness, some stupid story moments.

Visions- okay. If you're into Anime.. several big Anime studios did shorts set in the Star Wars universe, none of it is Canon, and because Anime, it's mostly oriented to children, but there are some gems in this collection of shorts...
My personal favorite shorts in order of when they came out..

1. The Duel -oh my dear goodness... Ronin/7 Samurai in BW Starwars with some color, and some awesomely impractical things

2. The Village Bride- good story, interesting characters.

3. The Ninth Jedi-great concept, great execution; set in far future where Jedi are all but extinct and the art of lightsaber construction is forbidden; good fight scenes and great concept around lightsaber construction.

4. The Elder. Great story, basically a Jedi and his student seek out someone dark on a small planet (the aforementioned Elder). Great duel here.

The others are fairly decent but not to my personal tastes. Your Mileage May Vary.

-Tattooine Rhapsody-it's about a kid Padawan who turns into a rock star

-The Twins -maximum ridiculousness.

-T0-B1-a star wars version of ASTRO Boy.

-Lop and Ochō -bunny people.

-Akakiri -compelling story but execution not that great IMO.

So Danny Trejo is in it?

Obi-Wan Kenobi. Meh. Yes story is decent, but again, it's more oriented to children and has a kid lead in it even though it's about Obi-Wan Kenobi.. however the kid is not Luke as it should be.. it's Leia. Well, it does explain how she knew to ask for his help in the original movie.

Actually it's Clarita not Clarissa ( dam predictive text). Santa Clarita Diet with Timothy Oliphant ( Dead Wood, Justified) and Drew Barrymore as a married Realtor couple. She turns into a sort of zombie after getting a bad clam. I'm not one for Zombie movies but this gets better every episode!

Sucks that it got cancelled prematurely. Nothing really got wrapped up.

problem with Disney+ is lack of new content... 2 years between episodes of Mandalorian is way to long!

Deadwood is a great program. I only saw the first two or three seasons because the team we replaced left it behind. I'd like to see the whole rest of the series. The last episode I think I saw was where that psycho who was killing brothel girls dropped out of a window on the end of a noose during some kind of big celebration in town one night.

The wife and I are watching Longmeir on Netflix right now. We watched the first few seasons of Yellowstone before it became only available with another paid subscription service. It's not entirely about shady people being shady, buy it is gritty. The characters are engaging, and it has some interesting plot twists. It's well worth your time to check it out.

That seems to happen too much, lately. Networks try to churn out quantity at times, and they don't focus the necessary energy on good programs that they should. Seeing Jericho end at the end of the second season was a huge disappointment among others.

Deadwood's one of my favorite series. Seeing the movie later on seemed a little weird though since they changed a few things around with the same actors

Yeah, I just watched the end of season 3 . I guess there's a season 4 all planned out but Netflix has some weird finance rules that causes a series to be cancelled even if it's doing really well. I hate that crap! Reminds me of the last episode of the Sopranos. The worst possible way to end a really good series.
