What to buy for CCW????

Guys I don't know what I should buy next. I am planing on moving to Arizona buy the end of the summer so I'll be able to get my CCW permit at last, but I'm having trouble deciding what gun I should buy for such an occasion. I miss my CZ-82 that I had, so I am thinking of maybe getting a new CZ-83 in .380acp. But I would also like to get a compact 9mm like the Torus Mil Pro. So what do you guys think CZ-83, Mil Pro or some other compact that cost under $400? I would love anyones input on this.

I owned a Taurus PT111 M-Pro and that's what I voted for. It's makes an excellent choice for a sub compact 9mm due to the small grip frame. Make sure your hand fits the grip though because some guys with large hands do not like it that well. The ONLY reason I got rid of my PT111 M-Pro is because I have nerve damage in my trigger finger and the M-Pro had a very light let off on the trigger. A 4# and 8# trigger feel the same to me, so I felt it safer for me to have something with a heavier trigger than on with a light trigger.

Since you will be in a really hot environment I would suggest a polymer frame gun, this will reduce the chances of frame rust due to body sweat while concealed carrying. I have a Bulgarian Makarov and decided to go with a Poly Frame/Stainless slide for this very reason.

Kel-Tec P-11 - great experiences here with that one.

You can find often find S&W M&P 9C for about that, with rebates / extra mags. Love that one too!

I vote for the PT111-- mainly because I bought one already (it actually my wife's, and it is Gander MTN. Pink..)--

Daily though I pocket a J22, but I carry an XD45 on me in my truck.

Personally though, I have been shopping for a G29 for everyday carry...

I have been thinking about a Thunder 9mm, but I have shot one so I don't know how I'll like them. On the other hand I do like PPK's so maybe I should get a Thunder .380.

I voted for the Mil Pro. Thats what im looking for right now for my ccw setup. I have ready some pretty good things about them. I like the second strike capability and the price is right. You can get them around here with 2 mags in the $300 range.
