Helping my son tend to his 6 bee hives. Feeding some sugar water

Beekeeping is on my to do list. I did it for 2 years. Drought, and not enough time to tend to them back then. The yellow jackets were invading the hive and eating the babies. I needed to feed them in the drought time.

I used to be able to open the hive without a suit. You can listen to them and hear if they are happy or pissed.

Yeah my son does that to. He might get a little sting but not often. He caught a wild swarm this year. When it dropped out of the tree it filled a 5 gallon bucket all most full. He stuffed them in a extra hive He had and by golly they stayed.

Just got home from the salt mine, luckily it cooled off some today. No heat indexes over 100. Us fat guys sweat alot lol

Just got home from work. Headed to do laundry get it done for the weekend. Release the hounds it Friday!

Just tinkered around the house today

Did the weekly shopping, man it's starting to be real noticeable that prices are climbing every time I go in

Electricity rates. Last year .1037 kwh 1382kw used $143.30
June 2022 .1229 kwh 1535kw $188.60
July 2022 .1314 kwh 1523kw $200.06

Yep pretty close to mine. Not enjoyable

Just put down my mastiff. She attacked my German shepherd again almost blinding her. This was when I was in AZ. E couldn't break them up. I can't take the chance this dog would hurt any other animal and I don't dare let her near other people. It sucks cause alone she's was a sweetie. Other animals or people she would start to get aggressive. Damn this day sucks

Sorry to hear that. But it's the right thing to do.

Hump day at work . Weekend is getting in sight

Im working OT on Friday and Saturday. Maybe working Monday for double time and a half.

Money would be nice.
