She owns a large cattle ranch in Bandera. This one wants to take care of me...

She's the one that got away.

We're just talking for now. To see if things still click, and they do. I'll be heading down in October for a week or so.

...as a Redhead survivor myself I have to caution you.
They’ll steal your soul and shatter your heart.
They’re like the Sirens of Odysseus....they earn a freckle for every soul ...be warned.....

That floor by the door would have me face planting a few times...

The door didn't swing after they added a subfloor, padding, and carpet over the original hardwood, so instead of trimming the door they pulled a square of padding and the door still drug on the carpet and was 1/2" too low to latch. So I took 1/2" off of the top of the door, morticed where the hinges would now sit, plugged and glued the old holes, pre-drilled the holes, and lifted the door 5/8" to clear the new stain master pad and carpet. Now it swings and latches.

Haven’t used the lane mower in about 9 months so had to clean the carb out.
Still got a bit of a surging idle but it runs.
About everything is McGyvered on this thing and it’s got only one driving wheel remaining and you need to pull the spark plug boot off to get it to shut off.

  16. Mine hasn’t consumed my soul yet. Well, at least she keeps it in my body for now. Time will tell.

Wanted to hit Grand Junction CO. But that's not happening.

I had a year where I had 3 mowers. 1st one I hit an iron pipe stuck in the ground and bent the shaft, 2nd one was old and the aluminum deck cracked, 3rd one I still have and going strong, had it for a number of years now (Troy-Bilt). But it's playing hell with my shoulder starting it and pushing/pulling it all over the yard, getting the MRI this week!!! Think it's time to pay someone else to do it or move to a place where it doesn't matter if the grass gets cut or not.
