We had prime rib, garlic horseradish mashed potatoes, brown gravy, green beans with bacon and tomatoes. Kept it simple and just had one other couple and my 87 year old grandpa as we just had so many people here for Xmas eve. Amazing first Xmas in the new home.
Today will be grazing/leftovers. I do not plan on venturing far from the couch.

Oxycodone, flexeril, and keflex.

Turns out I woke up with an abcessed tooth, and jacked my back up man handling that water heater around by myself.
I've been dealing with an abscessed tooth as well. Luckily it hasn't caused me too much pain. I have another dentist appointment in 10 days so I'm hoping they can just extract the damn thing and be done with it.

Thai food is one of my favorites to cook. Love me some massaman coconut curry. Or tom yum gai. Or som tam. Luckily I have a fantastic Asian market real close that I can get some of the not so common ingredients at.

Ten days? Holy schnikies! Most dentists will get you in ASAP to deal with abscesses. At the very least I hope your dentist has prescribed some antibiotics for you! Don't mess around with this. Many times you'll end up with a root canal and a crown. However, the crown can be put off if you're not able to swing it. Unless it's a wisdom tooth, or in such a state it cannot be repaired, it's better to keep the tooth.
Its the very back molar on the side I havent chewed on in decades and its half gone already. One of my last appointments they put a temporary filling in it just to keep it shored up until we decided to keep or attempt to save, then over the last 2 weeks or so this happened. no pain and no fever, and just trying to break away from work whenever the dentist can fit me in is near impossible this time of year. I seriously doubt i will miss it. And i think theres a wisdom tooth under it that can come up and take its place.

I used to work for an oral surgeon...if your wisdom tooth is lying on its side...which is common than it can't take your molars place. Xray will show whether or not it is. Good luck
Have full xrays and what wisdom teeth are there look like they're in good shape to come right in the way they're supposed to!

I told my new dentist at my first appointment that when they all got off work and met at twigs bistro for wine and appetizers to b.s. about their day, my mouth was going to be the one that they'd be talking shit about.:D

She said no way, this office is like Vegas, what happens at the dentist, stays at the dentist!

Plus I was relieved to find out that for someone who hadn't had any dental work aside from one extraction in 22 years, my teeth were pretty dang clean and great, and that they see far worse mouths from people that do go regularly!:bacon:
