Baked ham, mashed potatoes with turnips, super=sweet corn, plenty of ham gravy, rolls and apple pie.
Rach, I may regret this, but what is kase brot?
Käsebröt is a cheese sandwich(bread) but what it auto corrected from was Käsebrötchen, meaning cheese filled roll. I make it as a whole loaf of bread. I use a milk bread recipe and roll the dough out as I punch it down after the first rise, spread a layer of cheese across the top, then roll it up, and put it in a bread pan for the 2nd rise. It's a dense bread and is fantastic sliced or used in grilled cheese, but is serving en lieu of dinner rolls tonight.

Oxycodone, flexeril, and keflex.

Turns out I woke up with an abcessed tooth, and jacked my back up man handling that water heater around by myself.

I knew I was going to be feeling lazy after working on the chicken coop so after making biscuits and gravy, bacon, link sausage, and scrambled eggs for breakfast I fired up a batch of marinara and made some meatballs. Meatball subs for dinner.

You want some burger with your fries? :p
That was a 3lb burger, and the second time I've ordered it. I've never finished the whole meal in a single sitting.
Anyone have a good beef stir fry recipe? Thawing the meat. I am going to do some szechuan sauce.
It's stir fry, what sort of flavor profile are you going for? I just did a sesame chicken stir fry the other day. I like doing au poivre style peppered beef strip lo mein.

I bought a 4-channel TENS/EMS unit myself years ago. Runs on batteries or plugs in to the wall. Can't even remember the name of it, but it was from Asia somewhere. My old PT place set it up for me and every once in a while I still use it, when the pain gets really bad.

If only EMS actually worked to burn belly fat like those stupid belt deals claim. I would strap that thing to my gut and wear it all the time and wouldn't have as bad of a back problem.

Looks like I am going to marinade the meat in some really nasty wine, and do fajitas tomorrow. I have another package in the freezer. I picked up some sesame seed oil, Kikkoman Sezchuan cooking sauce, and some Tsang Bangkok peanut sauce.
I've got a folder full of recipes I've tried and tweaked to my liking. Some went over well with the boys, others not so much.

Shoyu Teriyaki Sauce/Marinade

2 cups water
2 cups soy sauce
2 cups sugar (calls for sugar but I use sweetener being diabetic)
2 Tbsp minced garlic
2 inches fresh grated ginger (or 2 tsp of the powdered stuff)
1 Tbsp oil

Soy, water, sugar in a pot and slowly bring it to a boil. While that is heading up sauté the garlic and ginger until it just starts to brown.
**If you're using powdered ginger add it to the sauté pan at the very end or it will scorch and ruin the sauce.**
Pull the garlic and ginger and add it to the pot. Bring it to a full boil then drop to a simmer for 30 minutes.

After that you can keep reducing it for a glaze or chill it down and use it as a marinade.
