whats the best service to send back a pistol

    Ups? Post office? What do you use. Gotta send back my 45

    Not sure but I just sent a .380 (machined parts) back today UPS. It was $10 and there is $100 insurance included for no extra charge.

    Fed Ex and UPS are your only choices, a individual cant mail a handgun thru post office unless you know a license dealer that is willing to ship it for you.

    Also read where you can have an FFL send it USPS. If you've got a good relationship with your FFL they may not charge you much additional to ship it.

    I let me FFL send all my handguns in for me. He uses USPS cushioned envelopes flat rate for $8.95. He charges me $10.
