That particular symbolism has been, umm... "diluted" over the years. It common usage, it doesn't always carry that level of commitment/obsession any longer.
That said, if I found a Wolverine at a fair price, I'd have to think hard about what I wanted to sell to finance it. However, I usually find that my idea of a fair price and what private gun sellers think is one, is often, shall we said, out of sync?
Look on gunporker and the originals are asking price between $1,500 and $2,500. Some doofus there even believes that an Olympic Arms repop is worth $1,150. 🤣
