Who was it that did this modification, I need details on where to get and how much the wire side folder, also the faux suppressor, is it home made? I can't find the thread on these anywhere.

Holy crap that's flippin 1337! The top one reminds me of a Steyr TMP. I've been working up some designs for how to make a folder, but mine was gonna be turbo-ghetto compared to these. I'd much like to know the parts this guy used also!
Pardon my ignorance, lol, but wth is 1337?
LEET, which I still don't really get, just internet slang, Leet speak

Leet as panoz said, as in elite
that is totally and utterly awesome. though i think we have finally seen a mod that will void the warranty

yup probably
I don't think so, the only thing cut on was the stock. I found the thread and builder at HPT. Shows a little how to on the build, fairly easy and straightforward.
that looks sweet...the thread on the builder would be nice....i d do that to mine.
Simply awesome. I may have to do that to mine.
Key question: what is the stock? The rest can be worked out.

looks like a cut and modified stock to me?

I like the top one where they made a new cover plate(squared it up with a picitany rail all the way across)
SOOOOO....are we going to post the link showing how to do it????? I have an "extra" classic just sitting in the closet waiting for something to do with it.

This looks like a cool mod, but here's the thing: to be a rifle, the fire-arm must be 26" long when folded. If you measure your carbine, you will see that it is about 2" - 3" too short! This can be fixed by permanently added a shroud/supressor to make up the different, but that's, well permanent.

Also, here is a link to a similar thread on HPT: http://hipointtalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2720
The gentleman's handle on HPT is 'Wild Bill Cody"
The thread is 5 pages long and includes pictures of the build, and a utube video (
)

Here are where he got the parts:
I got the fake can from here:

I had to drill it out to fit over the barrel, I drilled four holes in the end, and a set screw to hold it on.

The stock is off of a VZ-58 I got from APEX:

after taking measurments on my 995 i cant see how the above carbine is legal length. i keep coming up about 3 inches short with the way the stock is cut.

SW
it is not SW without a tax stamp ;)

I will show you my legal length adjustable stock though sometime in the next few days ..legal length no stamp needed ;)
Hey Panoz, if you decide to do this, do an intricate step by step please. i have an extra stock, and carbine i'd love to try this on.
It's gamer linguo. Derived from MMORPG games, like WoW and Final Fantasy. A lot of things came from it, like FTW and "Woot"

Oh, and "pwn"

I'm an MMO gamer myself, and still don't use this.

Another one I like, when people say they love somebody or something on the game, they <3 it. When I see that, I always say "Yeah, I less than three it too"

Anywho, that top one...with the HK style drum sights...for a picatanny rail. I WANT those....where is Bushman these days?

"This looks like a cool mod, but here's the thing: to be a rifle, the fire-arm must be 26" long when folded."

You are wrong, this is misinformation. The long gun must be at least 26" WITH STOCK EXTENDED, NOT FOLDED. You read or interpreted wrong somewhere. BTW, how do you guys measure the wire stock from a picture? The gun appears to be completely legal.

This was a question directly posed to BATF, here is a formal letter of response.
