Like the title says, why are people posting up the old numbers. Is it just for validity or whats the deal?

Seeing as how everyone, has started over, thats why.
Not just some johnny come lately.

  3. Some of these guys had years and thousands of posts invested in the other forum, and like elguapo said, they want recognition for their time devoted to the forum.

  4. It's a way of paying homage to the old forum too.

Well I dont care about post count, just wanted to show that ive been around for a while...I think when I originally joined there were 15 people on the old board.

  6. I just remembered my post count, would have sig-ed my join date too, need to do an archive/cache search and find that out. But yea, like the other guys said. Years of service and enjoyment to the forum...

and if something happens after dinner it was just a coincidence.

  13. Dinner first, that is what makes us different from the regular post whores LOL

  14. If you say +1 more then once a day, you are a post whore no matter what your post count imo. I have "+1"ed twice, but both times wrote more after it. Some of us are just addicts, have no real life and are on the forum way more then the surgeon general suggests.

  15. I agree with Taurus, and if you think about it, if someone says something and you agree, sometimes a +1 is all that is needed to let the poster know that hey dude, there are others that agree with you. You are not alone in the universe.

    In otherwords,

    +1

an old forum used to have keyword commands that if you wrote in "buy it" or +1 then they changed the word automatically to something that isn't permissible in this forum!
