Short and sweet, I had not really looked much at Palin herself beyond a few speeches and had almost forgotten about her then like a splinter in your eye the media and some very leftist higher ups(or scumbags if you've the same mindset as myself) continued to hammer and hammer and hammer away at her. Whoa this isnt right why all the attention? Nixon wasn't hounded this bad, in fact I can remember no one getting this treatment in just the brutality of it.

So I take another look. This lady is worth it, she must be cause something about her scares the hell of out of people I truly detest. This isn't done for no reason trust me Ive read their freaking book they are going right down the line isolate, harass, berate. They are giving you no credit what so ever for having anything in mind except that next six-pack. So thanks guys for putting me back on the right track.

Oh some of the worst of the socialist robots here are on ignore for me. So if you want to argue with them be my guest but trust me its wasted effort and we all have better thing to do right now.

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to say. So you were off the Palin wagon but now you're back on?

Not trying to be smart or nothin, I'm just a little confused by your post.

If you are talking about the media slam on her recently, I think its because of the resignation of her Governorship without any real solid reason. I mean, who does that? I know I know, the media is evil and so on and so forth, but come on, who resigns their elected office because their feelings are hurt? I'm not baggin on her because of the R next to her name. I'm baggin on her because she is a wonderfully baffling combination of professional politician and total moron. She was out of her league when she joined the race, and I think she is paying the price for it. I've got zero respect for her.

Katie Curic "What news publications do you read?"
Palin "Oh you know, all of them"
Curic "Yeah can you name one?"
Palin "Oh you know, they're all good"

I mean come on.

I wish I had some koolaid. i'm thirsty. I do wonder why you label those who disagree with you as koolaid drinkers all the time - like its completely outside of the realm of possibility that you could ever be wrong about something. Just find that curious. I think the inability to consider an opposing view as possibly valid reveals a lack of critical thought. but thats just me.

I want to understand your post (i read it three times), but its just not that clear to me. maybe you could detail your thoughts a little more. If i'm the only one who thinks its not that clear, I will accept that and shut myself up, however difficult that may prove to be.

Bomber, consider this... some one wants you out of your job. So they repeated file lawsuits with no foundation but still must be addressed by lawyers. Each time the suit is dismissed but you are still in the news for each suit and its allegations. You must bare the burden of the full cost of defending yourself while the media pounds away at your integrity for being sued repeatedly. As some point, I dare say you would have to look at whether you are still able to do your job, pay your attorney's fees and take care of your family.

Because Alaskan Law allows anyone to bring corruption charges against public officials ( for which they must defend themselves) her opposition was able to attack her relentlessly. I can see stepping down in those circumstances. imho Bulldog

Bomber just brought out the same old shat. Want a list of Presidents that had horrible interviews during their respective campains? Of course that requires a press that isnt in love with them.

Kennedy - Really bad interview with Cronkite but the old commie let him redo it.
Nixon - Too many to name
Carter - Oh god forgive me for voting for that guy the Sixty-Minutes interview
Bush 41 - The NWO slip up
Clinton- Pick one of dozens
Bush 43- The DWI interview
Obama - Never seen any one take off the kid gloves, lost all respect for O'Riely on that one but at least Joe the Plumber got him a little.

Regan just really didnt play the game the only one Ive ever seen really piss them off.

Now so what point did he raise again?

""I am not a quitter. I am a fighter," Palin told CNN on Monday while on a family fishing trip, on the heels of her Friday bombshell announcement that she was resigning as Alaska's governor."

Thats how I fight back, by quitting. :cantlook:

I can understand that its possible that it all was just getting to her and she was tired of it and didn't want to put up with it anymore. But she was the governor. The people of Alaska elected her to represent them and she walked away from that. Is that the kind of President you want? The Representative of our nation to the world? "When the going gets tough, the tough resign"

Well when she or if she runs then we shall have to get an answer to that but the fact that she is being hounded like no one Ive ever seen in my long life tells me she is feared by our enemies. For they are truly our enemies.

What is cliche about doubting the intelligence of Palin?

As for the rest of the stuff, I'm not just talking about one interview, though i brought one up as an example. I'm talking about every political appearance she makes when she needs to go off her script to answer a question, and even many of her speeches when she stays on her script. She just exhibits a severe lack of brains. I watch her speeches. I watched her interviews. Every time she is in front of a camera, she makes a fool of herself. And its not just short snippets chopped and taped together by the liberal media, I watch them in their entirety. She is just not that bright, and I think she has no integrity.

I think what you will find is that she IS still fighting. She gave up the Governorship because she was unable to serve her constituents while constantly having to defend herself against baseless lawsuits. However, she continues to fight for the causes she believes in AND it will allow her to be a very formidable force in the coming future elections. If she is so dismissible, why then does her opposition spend so much energy attacking her. THEY know she has the potential to really turn things upside down for them.

what is she doing to continue the fight? I would think her resignation would be enough of a distraction that would prevent her from having enough credibility to fight anything effectively.

Ever seen BO go off script? I would say Palin handles it much better than "I dont know all the facts" Obama.

Lose the cliches and listen to her, there is a reason she is constantly under attack.

time will tell what effect she has, but we should be able to see now how she is still fighting. I mean, I thought her resignation was her exit from political life, at least for now. So how is she still fighting?

On Monday, her personal lawyer also spoke about her resignation.

No legal "bombshell" or personal scandal lies behind Palin's resignation, but off-color jokes by talk-show host David Letterman contributed to her decision to step down, Thomas Van Flein said.

The governor needed a break after being "on duty now for two and a half years solid," he said.

"There is no bombshell. There is no shoe to drop. There are no investigations of any type that I'm aware of -- no IRS audit, no federal investigation, no state investigation," Van Flein told CNN. "There is no legal reason in terms of a legal problem that compelled the governor to resign."

oh my god, not 2 and half years! not off-color jokes! by a hack of a media personality. OMG, I'm like, totally surprised!

i know you discredit the source, but the part quoted is just the facts ma'am, straight from the lawyers mouth.

Again, time will tell. And when has any politician let you see all their cards..Seriously, I think she's laying low and will soon come out guns blazing.

Thanks, Bomber, for a civil tete-a-tete. It has been fun going back and forth with you! :D Bulldog
