Hi all. I bought my 995 a couple weeks ago, and I'd like to get a scope for it. I think I've found one, but I have never tried to add a scope to anything before so I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing.

This is the one I was looking at:
Scope

Rings

I don't want to spend a lot on a scope right now and I thought that this one looked decent. So... what do you think? Will that work with the 995, or do I need something completely different?

I'd appreciate any help I could get, thanks.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Actually, on youtube I saw a guy with a scope on a 995 that was near about as long as the barrell.

I was more asking if it would attach to the rifle without any problems. Like I said, I'm new to scopes and I wasn't sure if those rings would work on it or if I would need something else to go with it.

It will attach to the rail on the 995 with no issues other than playing a little bit for eye relief. The rail on the 995 is short. I suggest mounting the rings on it and then resting the scope in them to find the right placement, then putting the tops on and tightening. Be sure to tighten the rings as evenly as you can to prevent binding or warping.
