Has anyone used the Wolf brand ammo in .223 ? I bought good ammo for my Saiga .223 for hunting ($17.00 a box-Remington). However, I saw at my local gun shop that Wolf .223 was like $5.99 a box! Wow, that's cheap for plinking :) Any problems with this stuff?
  2. I haven't had any problems with it. That is pretty much all I have used in my CAR-15.

Earlier this year Dunhams would have it on sale for $2.99/box, now it's on sale for $3.99 or $4.99 box.

Look for it online, even with S&H you should be able to beat $5.99/box.

  3. I can't use WOLF in my COLT HBAR...to close tolerance....

I use ONLY WOLF in my Bulgarian milled AK...7.62x39 though.

I use wolf 7.62x39 and it works fine. Never have had a complaint.

I have seen the lacquered covered wolf cause some problems. I also know folks who have shot it and not run into problems
