Looking for 50 to 100 pieces of brass for reloading
Starline or just buy two boxes of factory loads and then save the brass?
If you buy factory loads, then you know the history of it.
Going to a gun show on Sunday, I'll pick up a few there. I like reloading and almost never shoot factory loads. Guess I could buy a box, I just hardly ever think about buying new ammo. Thanks.
I know that feeling. When I bought the 270 from Under, and it came with all the ammo; my first thought was, "Damn, that's a lot of shooting to get some usable brass."
Most normal people would think 440 rounds of factory ammo was a lifetime supply. lol
You can find them online under $30 a box frequently. Starline over $100 for 500 brass only.
ie. Prvi Partizan PPU .44 Magnum 240grn JHP 50rd Box $28.95 - AIMsurplus
I have a hard time buying retail ammo. For two boxes and shipping, looking at 68.00. For 66.00 I can get 500 bullets. Gun show Sunday, I'll find some there. Reloading has spoiled me. I do buy self-defense ammo.
Would that 44 JHP fall under defense?
I'm not planning on carry the 44 concealed or other wise. It's a range toy.
Answer to your question, yes.
Not going dirty harry style? Do you feel lucky punk?
What did you do different? I tried to do that?
Picked 100 decapped and sized 44 mag at the gun show today.
Loaded up 50 and hit the range at 4pm.
