As for a 995, those things pop up on gunbroker.com like every other day. With a bit of patience you can score a pretty good deal. Most of the folks here with one (or twelve) are holding on to them.

All three of mine came from GB, and all three came at good to great prices IMO. They pop up on Armslist in my area (and I'm sure in your area) about 1 a week in various configurations. Have you checked any pawn shops in your area?

I spend at least 3-4 hours everyday looking for Hi Points, NOPE not retired, yet!!!
I have bought 5 or 6 from pawn shops & maybe another 3 or 4 FTF off Arms list. But I have bought most of my Hi Points from one gun auction or another.
