WTB 9mm Derringer style.

Discussion in 'Vintage Topic Archive (Sept - 2009)' started by Broomhead, Feb 26, 2008.

  1. I'm looking for a 9mm derringer one or two shot for my wife to carry.

***UPDATE*** My decided she didn't want a derringer after looking at different guns. She decided to get a Cobra CA-380. Which is great for carry, but is a lemon when it comes to range shooting. :( Thanks for all the responses though.

Typically Derringers don't come in 9mm (for similar reasons that revolvers are not chambered in 9mm), although there are some.
    Most are .22m .32, .38, etc.
Also the era that derringer design comes from typically utilize the rim of the cartridge for extraction.

Dumb question for ya... Why a derringer and not some of the other smaller offerings that are out there.
  4. My wife had an over and under .38 special that she loved.
  5. I have a 9mm derringer im wanting to sell. PM me if interested.
