I'm trying to collect 1 of each the different models of HP's. And this type of thing makes it almost impossible to figure out? Every time I turn around, here comes a different picture of an HP I've never seen before. Maybe I should stick my head into the sand, and act like I never seen it???
The comps have a rail, but it isn't a standard rail. OP, you realize swapping a barrel on a C9 is not going to be a simple task.
If I'm not mistaken, and I very well could be, both the pistol comp's and carbine comp's have dovetail rails on them.
My understanding is there are 2 pins (a front pin and the hold open pin) that need to be punched out and then re-installed. If there is more involved, or a special way of removing and re-installing, please let me know. thank you for your input. B
Special way? Ya. Disassemble the gun first. You need to whack that big pin pretty good and all those little parts tend to go a flyin'. Also. when replacing that pin it needs to be in enough so it doesn't rub the slide yet still allows the LRHO to move freely. That's pretty much it.
