You can have 1 Glock and 1 Hi-Point, each in a different caliber: What do you choose?

Assuming these would be your only guns, I'm interested to know what you would go with after you weigh the differences and reliability with each model

Leaves me out, I wouldn't take an HP handgun if it was free. :stir::stir::stir::stir:

Your looking to get banned Glock lover :p

  6. sorry, but this a a dumb question.

The HP handgun literally has nothing over a glock but the price / warrenty.
So if you are handing them out, glocks for everyone.

The HP does not compete against a glock. It competes against jiminez, Phoenix, Raven, Loricin.

    G20 , and a JCP.

G20 as its a 10 mm, and JCP as it was my first HP, and is ridiculously easy to shoot well.

But...my C9 COMP or .380 COMP are very accurate, and odd.

And the G42/G43 is a great little pocket gun, though WAY overpriced.

OK...G29 to carry the 10 mm, and the JHP, because EVERYONE needs a .45.

Or...maybe the G40, for ultimate 10 mm power and then the C9 for carry...I have carried the C9, it will work.

Or...screw this, I'm an American, I'm keeping all my guns!

Same here. I have shot both enough to know they would have to be the only pistols available before I would have either.

    & diff. caliber... ;)

    :D
Seems he is fishing for opinions on what to buy...

I'm with Ajolé, G20 or G40 (longslide) and the HP of your choice.
I would also lean towards the carbine in 40 S&W, as you can run the 40 S&W
in the Glunk in a pinch it seems... I have heard that it works. The Extractor
claw holds the case until you fire it. Kinda like shooting 22s in a 22lr unit :D

G23 and extra 9mm barrel & mag. Hipoint 45acp. most things would be covered. Except concealed carry.

I would get whatever hi point I found first, sell the glock and buy the other three hi points. Sorry, I have never shot a glock I liked.

Basically a personal choice. I don't think I said I didn't like them per se. I said they would have to be the only ones available before I would have either. If that was the scenario, then I would buy either rather than being unarmed. I do like the HP carbines. I had a 995 but had to sell it due to circumstances. I am currently saving to buy a new one, hopefully early next year.
