I am new to Hi point firearms, owning multiple Taurus, Glocks, and others...when I picked up a C9 at my favorite gun shop for a total of 147.45 out the door. That was after doing a ton of research about the weapon prior to purchase.
Now I have never been a "gun snob" and have some friends that are, however I thought in order to get a handgun that's reliable it takes some money behind it. If that's the case this C9 is the exception to that rule.
It shoots every bit as good as my Taurus, Glock or any other, and actually feels about the same in my hands as the Taurus, I got back from the range yesterday shooting the C9 for the first time (100 rounds) with no malfs what so ever! Got to say I'm impressed. Also shooting the Taurus 9mm, could not tell a difference between the two.
I only wish I had came across HP sooner, I could have saved a ton of money.
The funny thing is, most of these "gun snobs" out there to afraid to buy, let alone show up on a gun range with a HP have the attention on their "guns" at the range so when they shoot, most people don't pay attention to how BAD they aim...HAHA
I'm getting the 9mm carbine next...what a fun weapon to fire!
